WELCOME TO THE ADULT NOGI PROGRAM
Welcome! If you’re stepping into DC Jiu Jitsu for your first class — whether in a gi (uniform) or for nogi — here’s exactly what you can expect, no stress, no surprises..
Where You’ll Be
You’ll be training on clean, professional mats in a large open space at 150 Fyans St, Geelong.
You’ll meet friendly coaches and other students — many of whom started just like you.
You don’t need to be fit, flexible, or experienced to begin. Everyone starts somewhere.
Culture & Atmosphere
DC Jiu Jitsu is friendly, respectful, and inclusive — no egos, no aggressive vibes.
Higher belts help lower belts. You’ll be supported, not judged.
You’ll leave sweaty, but smiling — and probably hungry to learn more.
Class Length
Classes run for around 1 hour, but many students arrive early and stay late to maximise their training.
Class Structure
1. Warm-Up
2. Technique Instruction
3. Situational Drilling
4. Optional Live Sparring / Rolling
