DC Jiu Jitsu is A specialised grappling academy dedicated to development of Jiu Jitsu, NOGI and Wrestling for Kids, Teens, Adults and women. DC Jiu Jitsu community

DC Jiu Jitsu helps kids build strong skills and real confidence through structured training, goal setting, and positive coaching. Students learn how to stay calm under pressure, push through challenges, and perform at their best, both on the mats and everyday life. By celebrating effort, discipline, and progress, we develop resilient kids who believe in themselves and aren’t afraid to step up to challenges of all kinds.

Competition Jiu Jitsu

DC Jiu Jitsu has a proud competition history built on decades of experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission grappling. Since the academy was founded, competition has played an important role in the team’s culture, encouraging students to test their skills in real competition and continually improve their grappling.

Over the years, athletes from DC Jiu Jitsu have competed in a wide range of local, national, and international tournaments in both GI and NOGI competition. Through consistent training, strong fundamentals, and a focus on effective grappling, the team has produced many successful competitors and medal winners.

While competition remains an important part of the academy’s identity, DC Jiu Jitsu continues to support students of all levels whether they are training for competition, personal development, or simply for the love of Jiu Jitsu.

At DC Jiu Jitsu, we pride ourselves on offering the largest mat space in Geelong and the surrounding areas, giving our students room to move, train, and develop without the limitations of overcrowded classes. Our facility features over 220sqm of International Judo Federation (IJF) approved mats, the same standard used at the Olympic Games.
